Upon my arrival in Spain, I journeyed to STREETXO, one of Madrid’s top-rated restaurants and sister restaurant to DIVERXO. The eclectic flavors and abnormal menu items (I always love something out-of-the-box) did not disappoint along with the courteous waitstaff and illuminated atmosphere. Neon signs and bold colors brilliantly reflected the energy carried through the people, the exclusive nature of the restaurant and most importantly, the food. We ordered the dumpling pekinés, korean lasagna, croquetas, vietnamese roll, ramen and brioche pedroche. Out of all of these, the must-have is 100% the ramen. However, all of the menu items successfully trick your tastebuds with an unexpected twist in every bite. Another hit is definitely the DIVERXO LÍQUIDO MADRIZZZZZZ 100%. Not only does this cocktail’s name make it sound super cool…it actually tastes good and is probably the most instagrammable drink you’ll ever encounter. It’s not often drinks are both good and pretty. First of all, the drink is purple. Second of all, it has cute floating flowers. Finally, it’s served in a huge glass. Presentation is the key to success.

To eat at STREETXO, arrive at least 30 minutes before the restaurant opens to get your name on the list. I recommend arriving earlier than 30 minutes because the line starts before the queue starts. Although we successfully got our name on the list, we still waited two hours to be seated, but it was a dining experience worth the wait.

My one disappointment from this experience…that I didn’t try the Huevo de la Pedroche cocktail, but this just gives me a good reason to go back.
